Dallin has had a very successful year working for BYU-Idaho. He has been able to really build up his department and increase sales. He has had a great time traveling for work and getting to meet a lot of really great people along the way. He is finding the small town life to be really great and is learning to adjust to some of our silly ways of life here in Idaho. He has spent a lot of time doing work on the home and trust me trying to get an entire acre yard in is A LOT of work. He is serving in our ward as Gospel Doctrine teacher and web master. I hear nothing but wonderful things about his lessons. Dallin amazes me how he pulls it all off but he still makes plenty of time to wrestle with the kids and give them crab rides along with taking time to read books and he will even let Nickelle style his hair. He keeps us all centered and makes our life wonderful. He brings so much fun into our days it is no wonder that the kids and I sit in the front room watching for his car when he comes home. We can't wait till Daddy comes home!

Season

This has been another great year for me. I am learning more and more a Mother's work is never done and that is keeping me so busy. I am serving in my ward as primary chorister. This is my second time serving in this calling and this has been an extra challenge with our incredibly large primary. But it is reminding me why I loved teaching so much. The kids are so wonderful and I love being with them. I also have spent a lot of time reading this year and have found reading is my personal heaven. I love getting lost in a book and have read many wonderful books this year. I also have had a great time sewing and spending time doing all kinds of projects. I am excited to be pregnant again and am looking forward to having a third beautiful child. I am due May 5th and am excited to meet this little person. I have had a great time this year learning to play boy and girl games with my kids and am finding you can never feel like you balanced enough of your time between kids. I am excited to be able to take a trip with Dallin here in a couple of weeks to San Francisco. I am really looking forward to some Dal and Seas time without the kids.
Porter Reed

To say this has been a big year for Porter would be a huge understatement. So much has happened for this little guy it is crazy to think it all happened in one year. Some highlights are he turned three, which involved his first four wheeling outing with his Grandpa and Dad. He also attended the Toddler lab here at BYU-Idaho and now is attending preschool here at Midway Elementry. The most amazing thing is that he did not brake a bone in his body or need stitches this year. I am not sure how we pulled that off because as you all know he is one incredibly active kid but somehow we managed. This has also been a hard year for Porter. We found out this year that he is having some developmental delays that have also helped us learn about some medical problems. So he has spent the majority of the year involved in all kinds of therapies and treatments. We are so proud of how hard he is working and how he is moving along. Mostly we are just glad that Porter is still the kid who loves life and is happy to be doing it all. It has been fun for him to gain some language this year and hear some of the wonderful things he thinks about. He too is excited about being a big brother again but is a little impatient for the baby to come home.
Nickelle Lilly Ann

Nickelle has had a wonderful year this year. She turned one, went to her first princess movie, and started nursery. She is our little performer. She dances, sings and dresses up all day long. She loves anything "pretty". We can get her to do anything if we tell her something pretty is involved. She loves to get dressed and have her hair done. My favorite days with Nickelle are when Porter goes to school we have "girls day" and we dress up, have tea parties, shop, or she styles my hair. We have a great time playing what she wants to play. She is really excited to be a big sister and can't wait to have a baby around. She is our little sunshine!
